Privacy Policy

How we handle your information and the choices available to you.

Effective date:

New Century Business Services LLC explains here how we handle information through centurybusiness.net, public inquiries, and our client portal. Professional services may also have a separate client privacy notice or engagement agreement. Applicable law and legally required protections continue to apply.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the name, email address, telephone number, messages, and other details you choose to provide. Chat messages and contact details are retained so our team can respond and manage the inquiry.

For clients and authorized portal users, we process account details, uploaded documents, communications, business and employee records, tax identifiers, financial information, and service or payment records needed for the services requested. Information can also come from your employer, authorized business representative, financial records, or government agencies.

Our hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request logs, and account activity. Unless you turn off optional analytics or send a browser privacy signal, Google Analytics collects information about visits to public pages, referral sources, and interactions. We configure our analytics to exclude authenticated portal pages and restrict the event details sent to Google.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, provide and administer requested services, manage accounts and files, communicate with clients, process authorized transactions, maintain records, prevent misuse, and meet legal and professional obligations. Optional website analytics helps us understand public website use.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to promotional messages. Any promotional communications must follow applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements. Tax return information is subject to additional legal restrictions; this policy is not consent to use or disclose that information for unrelated purposes.

When information is disclosed

We disclose information as needed to personnel and service providers supporting hosting, file storage, communications, payment processing, and requested professional services. We may disclose information to your authorized representatives, tax authorities or other recipients as legally permitted, or to comply with legal process, protect against fraud, or resolve a dispute. Any business transfer involving records remains subject to applicable law and confidentiality duties.

We do not sell information collected through this website for money or use it for targeted advertising. Optional analytics and third-party content involve the providers described below. A required tax-information authorization must be obtained separately when applicable; this policy does not authorize unrestricted sharing.

Cookies, analytics, and third-party content

Browser storage supports account sessions, language preferences, chat continuity, and your analytics choice. Google Analytics is enabled by default on public pages unless your browser sends a supported privacy signal or you have turned analytics off. You can turn it off or change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. We disable advertising personalization and Google Signals in our website analytics configuration.

We treat a browser Global Privacy Control signal or Do Not Track value of 1 or yes as a request to keep optional analytics off, even if a prior preference allowed it. This control applies to our optional analytics; essential hosting and security logs still operate.

The embedded Google Maps loads automatically on our home page. Google may receive information such as your IP address and use its cookies when it loads. When you play a YouTube video or follow a booking, payment, social-media, or other external link, that provider may also collect information under its privacy notice. Our analytics preference does not control those external services. Google’s privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Retention and protection

Retention depends on the type of record, the service relationship, tax and accounting obligations, dispute needs, and legal holds. Requests to delete information may be limited by those obligations. Contact us to ask about a particular record or its retention.

We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no website, email, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Keep passwords private and report suspected account misuse promptly. Do not send Social Security numbers, banking details, passwords, or tax documents through a public inquiry, public chat, or an ordinary email. Ask our team for the appropriate client document channel.

Your requests and choices

You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about our handling of your records. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to receive a copy, opt out of certain processing, appeal a decision, or use an authorized agent. We evaluate requests under the law that applies to the information and our services, verify authority when necessary, and explain relevant exceptions or appeal steps.

Use the contact details below and describe your request without attaching sensitive identity documents. We will explain an appropriate verification method if needed. You can also ask us to correct your contact information or stop promotional communications. Requesting privacy rights will not itself result in discriminatory treatment.

Children and policy updates

Our public website and portal are intended for adults and authorized business users, not children under 13. Client tax and accounting records may include dependent or employee information supplied by an authorized adult. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information directly through the public website.

We post updates here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. A policy update does not itself provide any legally required consent for a new use of existing tax or financial information.
